THE PHANTOM JOKER ESCAPE IS NOW CLOSED.
This review is left here merely as a record.

Their description:

Search for my mysteriously missing brother
Leads to an enigmatic world
An ancient forest
Home to black magic
Peace?
Or killing in disguise?
I have to confront the unknown …

Although this is one of the weaker Phantom Joker rooms, it’s still worth playing. It’s fairly eerie and atmospheric, but unlike other scary escape rooms, some of its frightening aspects are directly relevant to puzzle-solving.

This room is not that linear and structured, so there’s a risk of spending too long trying to solve a puzzle that can’t actually be solved yet. But that aside, the puzzles are fairly logical, and there are enough interesting flourishes to make the experience not just intellectual, but thrilling.

One weak point comes near the end, when an attempt to integrate the puzzle into the storyline is less precise than it could have been. It’s possible to have a good idea of how to solve the puzzle, but fail to do so because of this lack of precision.

WORTH A TRY for beginners and experienced teams.
