Room review: Phantom Joker: The Fallen Star in the Ancient Villa

THE PHANTOM JOKER ESCAPE IS NOW CLOSED.
This review is left here merely as a record.

Their description:

Smashing roots of evil
Free from the confinement of time
In a homely, beautiful ancient cabin
An unfinished chess game, paintings, and a nautical chart
Am I hallucinating or seeing what I see?
Shining stars, scattered in the galaxy
Is it where the Fallen Star hides its secrets …

One of my favourite escape rooms in Singapore. This room truly feels like an adventure, from the rich setting to the many varied and exciting ways in which puzzles are presented and solved. This has some of the most ingenious mechanisms I’ve seen, and some of the coolest moments I’ve experienced, including the excellent finale.

The puzzles themselves are rigorous but fair, and some of them will test your confidence in your answers.

If you have to play just one Phantom Joker room, make it this one. (But honestly, why stop at one?) This is a must-visit room for anyone who cares about the immersive and exciting nature of escape rooms.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for everyone. Beginners might find it a bit difficult, but it’s still worth the experience.
